2 Awesome Gluten Free sample companies!

I was at the Gluten and Allergy Free Expo this Sunday working a booth for HMN. We just found out our son probably has a Gluten issue so I was excited to go and try some samples. I tried tons of yummy foods! I wanted to let all of you know about 2 great companies that I found.

GoPicnic. www.gopicnic.com They are individually boxed lunches/meals. They have no HFCS, MSGs, artificial colors or trans fats. They have several Gluten Free options. The don't require refrigeration. They are perfect for lunches, traveling, picnicking etc. They had a SUPER good deal on them so I bought a bunch. It is a good way to try new foods too! :) I am going to take a few on our plane trip to Boston in a few weeks. I just went to their website and they are having a sale on several of the gluten free ones. Also there is a contest (and coupon code) if you like them on Facebook.

GFree Connect. http://www.gfreeconnect.com/ This company sends you a care package every 3 months with GF samples and coupons. It was a more than half full paper shopping bag of samples plus a stack of coupons!! It is $30 plus shipping each quarter. (He said shipping is like $12)

"Each package will include approximately 25 gluten free items to sample, plus valuable coupons - some for free or heavily discounted items, professional/ organization information like celiac centers, health care professionals, support groups, and more. Each quarterly care package will contain different items, so you will enjoy tasting different foods sent directly to your home every three months."

It is a great way to try GF foods and not have to waste your money if you don't like something. The founder helped carry my stuff to my car. He told me how his daughter has Celiac and it sucked spending 5,6,7 dollars on a new GF food only to have his daughter take one bite and hate it. This company just launched 5 weeks ago. They sold out of all the packs they brought to the Expo.

I was so excited to get soooo many samples of new healthy foods to try. I can't wait to eat them all...oh yeah they are for my son! :)
